In addition to securing almost 3,935 kilometers of grit on important traffic lanes, the Hamburg city cleaning service also secures around 655 kilometers on important pavements without residents. These are, for example, sidewalks on bridges, selected sidewalks that are important for traffic on watercourses, on agricultural and forestry areas, on and in green spaces or sidewalks to stops of underground and suburban trains and buses of the Hamburg Transport Association (HVV), as well as 4030 bus stops (around 100 Kilometers) and 240 kilometers on a selected network of cycle paths and cycle lanes.
Up to 900 emergency services are on the road with 350 vehicles in winter service, including a large number of Schmidt Stratos spreaders and Tarron snow plows.
