1,200 employees at Rijkswaterstaat in the Netherlands provide safe roads in winter. Around 900 winter maintenance vehicles, including numerous Nido units, were deployed throughout the country during heavy snowfall last weekend. From Sunday to Monday even 7,000 tons of salt were scattered and the winter maintenance vehicles covered more than 40,000 kilometers, which is equivalent to a circumnavigation of the globe. That needs reliable and enduring technology.
