When it comes to cultivating steep and demanding terrain, Aebi has been offering for decades the right solution for almost all challenge. When developing the TP 410 Transporter, the focus was specifically on the needs of operations in alpine regions. The fact that the agile and manoeuvrable TP410 has now been selected as the 2020 Tractor of the Year in the alpine technology category is due, among other things, to its strong performance and or despite the lowest unladen weight in its class. The 3.3 l Kubota engine makes it possible to accelerate faster and work more powerfully. The modern generation of engines consumes around 5% less diesel and meets the emission requirements of stage V.
The panoramic driver’s cab offers an unrestricted view of the surroundings and implements. The redesigned instruments, especially the intuitive levers and controls for the PTO, transmission and hydraulics, allow the driver to concentrate on his work without distraction. This, together with limited-slip differentials, hill-holder function, torsional damping and a new braking system, results in the greatest possible safety and control in every situation.
The Aebi TP 410 is available with two different wheelbases, offers preselectable half gears and travels at a maximum speed of 40 km/h on the road. The turning circle of 5.7 metres (with short wheelbase) makes it agile and manoeuvrable. The low tare weight, hence high payload and the Aebi quick-release fasteners for a wide range of attachments and implements enable efficient and time-saving work.
The third-placed TT 206 shares a lot of characteristics
They have a lot in common, the TP 410 transporter and the compact Terratrac implement carrier models. The cab in the TT 206 also offers a lot of comfort, generous space and best visibility. The low unladen weight is as well a common feature. With the Terratrac, it leads in combination with wide low-pressure tyres to maximum ground protection. So anyone who has to perform flexible operations on steep terrain and therefore needs a safe and multifunctional implement carrier is on the right track with the third-placed «Tractor of the Year 2020».
